A Room For All Occasions

The UND Center for Innovation has a variety of meeting rooms in an environment designed for businesses, community political leaders, and nonprofits that are thinkers, doers, and innovators. And our staff will work alongside you to make your event exactly right. All meeting room rentals come with:

  • Dedicated tech support
  • High-speed internet access
  • Customized setup
  • Lobby area 

Our rooms are available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, but reach out if you have an event falling outside of these hours. You can use any licensed catering service in Grand Forks for your meeting or event. UND Catering staff provides services right on campus as well.

The UND Center for Innovation is located conveniently along 42nd Street, between the intersections of Demers Ave and University Avenue. If guests or travelers are attending your meeting from outside of Grand Forks, we’re less than a mile from the I-29 exit and just a parking lot away from the Hilton Garden Inn.

James Ray Idea Lab

This event space hits all the marks. Versatile enough for large events or intimate gatherings, it’s a professionally creative space. Every part of the design is meant to spur innovation and creativity. The rounded corners help ideas bounce around. This room also has custom lighting to help provide focus and eliminate distractions. 

Meeting Room Features:

  • 80-person capacity
  • Flexible layout and seating
  • Projector, speakers, & mics
  • Hybrid meeting capable (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WebEx)
  • Badman Designs copper fireplace
  • Attached kitchen for catering

Rental Rates:

  • $50 per hour or $275 for the whole day

Dahl And Melroe Boardroom

This meeting room fits the bill for both formal and informal meetings, like staff retreats, board meetings, formal interviews, and business pitches. The user-friendly technology makes it a perfect space for hybrid meetings or wow-factor presentations.

  • 90” LED TV
  • Hybrid ready (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WebEx)
  • Integrated tech controls

Rental Rates:

  • $35 per hour or $175 for the whole day

For meetings without all the fuss and frills, we’ve got a room for that. This space brings all the professionalism and creativity without all the technological bells and whistles. It’s perfect for small team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and group conversations. 

Meeting Room Features:

  • 12-person capacity
  • 55” mounted TV
  • Laptop connection ports

Rental Rates:

  • $25 per hour or $100 for the whole day

Huddle Rooms (Tenant Only)

Being a tenant of the UND Center for Innovation comes with a few perks, including access to three huddle rooms peppered throughout the building. These rooms are perfect for one-on-one meetings, private phone calls, small interviews, or Zoom meetings. Huddle rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
